Via OneLook&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.onelook.com\/reverse-dictionary.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">reverse dictionary<\/a>, I found the following, and defined them with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">the OED<\/a>: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>sottisier<\/strong>, n. &mdash; A collection of sottises; esp. a list of written stupidities. Also <em>transf.<\/em> and <em>fig.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>cento<\/strong>, n. &mdash; 1. A piece of patchwork; a patched garment. 2a. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcA composition formed by joining scraps from other authors\u00e2\u20ac\u2122 (Johnson). 2b. more loosely: cf. \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcstring\u00e2\u20ac\u2122, \u00e2\u20ac\u02dcrigmarole\u00e2\u20ac\u2122.<\/li>\n<li><strong>disjecta membra<\/strong>, Latin phr. &mdash; An alteration of Horace&#8217;s disjecti membra poet\u00c3\u00a6 &#8216;limbs of a dismembered poet&#8217;, used = Scattered remains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>delectus<\/strong>, n. &mdash; A selection of passages from various authors, esp. Latin or Greek, for translation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>empyema<\/strong>, n. &mdash; 1. &#8216;A collection of pus in the cavity of the pleura, the result of pleurisy. The term has also been used to denote any chronic inflammatory effusion in the chest&#8217; (<em>New Sydenham Soc. Lexicon<\/em>). 2.
